Memi Group has partnered with one of the UK’s largest vertical farm businesses, Innovation Agri-Tech Group (IAG) and British charities with the aim to provide victims of the war in Ukraine with the technology to grow fresh produce and help feed those in need.

Memi Group will work with charities already helping with the relief efforts to implement IAG’s technology in the areas where they need it most.

IAG’s indoor farming technology has the ability to quickly grow fresh produce, without the need for soil, herbicides or pesticides and by using up to 95% less water than traditional farming, which will help with the humanitarian crisis by feeding those people affected in Ukraine.

IAG’s 10,000 sq ft farm in Bracknell ensures that crops grown using IAG’s technology and automated systems are fresh, healthy and fit for human consumption by meeting the Red Tractor and Global G.A.P. food standards, providing a secure supply of fresh produce for those hit hardest by the war.

Memi Group will donate produce and technology at cost price so the more we can raise, the more we can donate to the people suffering from the war in Ukraine.
